When you see a QR Code in the wild (on a postcard, marketing material, etc…), you will need two things:
- A mobile phone
- QR Code-reading software
Once the software is on your phone, then you can easily snap a picture of a QR Code, and be directed to the appropriate website or message.
Downloading a Reader
If you have a smartphone, then you certainly should be able to find a QR Code Reader that works on your phone. Here are a few:
Blackberry
- Blackberry Messenger 5.0
- BeeTagg
iPhone
Droid
There are plenty of other QR Code Readers available. The website 2d-code.co.uk has published quite an extensive list, along with additional details.

Hi Guys:
Put the URL link behind the logo of the QR reader company. I can’t click on the logo to get to the site. It’ll clean up the page also. No big deal. As they say, “the devil’s in the details”. Good stuff!
