Well – nice, but why not give the customer a tailored landingpage? You KNOW he’s there at a closed door, so help him! “Hi, I’m sorry I’m not there at the moment. to call me. to see opening hours….” and so on. At the front of yr door I’m not interested to see the full webpage!

Thanks for the comment… That is a great idea. The QR Code could direct them to a landing page that helps them specifically find key details about the company/product, or to submit a request to receive additional information. If they fill out the form, the sales team could be notified instantly via text message or email, and then attempt to contact that person from wherever they are at that moment.
