Around this time of the year the mailboxes start to get a little more full with catalogs, coupons, direct mailers and greeting cards.

I recently received a direct mail piece from Disney World promoting their parks and hotels as well as their “Holiday Shop”. To promote the “Holiday Shop” they placed a QR Code on the mail piece. The QR Code allows you to shop right from your smartphone.

And as a designer I thought it was great that they turned the QR Code red and placed it in a Mickey Mouse head very creative!
