QR Codes Used to Produce Virtual Stores

Well, we waited until Friday to see if anything else would claim the #1 spot… but, it’s official. The coolest application that we saw of QR Codes this week comes from South Korea.

Tesco is making it possible for commuters to now do their food shopping while they are on the go, without ever needing to make their way into the store.

Consumers view the available products via a virtual store… then, if they see one that they’d like, they scan the corresponding QR Code to add it to their virtual shopping cart.
