In the music world, I think it’s fair to say that the band Rush is loved by many.
While I do not currently own any of their music, the fact that they have started using QR Codes in their print advertisements has helped them earn bonus points in my book.
In a recent edition of Rolling Stone, Rush is using a full-page print advertisement to promote their new concert video, Time Machine. To help reach the emerging mobile audience, they incorporated a QR Code into the ad. The QR Code directs people to a site where they can watch the trailer of the video.
