I read a great story about QR Codes, direct mail, and history the other day… and I wanted to make sure that you saw it too.
The article, “QR Codes Extend Library Programming“, highlights how a library in Colorado Springs has incorporated QR Codes into one of their promotions.
I don’t want to steal too much of their thunder (click here for the full article), but here are some of the highlights:
- A postcard was sent out to 2,000 people that invited them to a video premiere.
- The QR Code on the postcard directed people to a trailer for the movie.
- The library shared stats as to how many people saw the postcard and scanned the QR Code!
