I just wanted to share a way that QR Codes are being used to keep people informed.

Thanks to IFPress.com for putting together the excellent article. It highlights how the city of London is using QR Codes on their construction site signs to keep the people of the city informed. The article also discusses how the city was looking for a low-cost way to share information about the project with people that was quick and efficient.

“I was looking for a no-cost, or low cost, option that could link city residents with staff in a quick and efficient way,” he said. “More and more Londoners are able to access the Internet remotely and the city’s communications need to keep up with that.” incorporated multiple channels to ensure that they are reaching their audience the right way, and that they are providing people with their preferred response channel.”
