It’s hard to believe.
But Graph Expo 2012 is almost here!
From October 7th-10th in Chicago, our company will be exhibiting at one of the largest trade shows in the print industry. (If you’ll attending, make sure to visit us at Booth 1071 in the Marketing Pavilion!)
Another organization that will be exhibiting is the Mailing and Fulfillment Services Association (MFSA).
I received the direct mail piece pictured below from them this week. It promotes a contest that they are running, sessions that they are giving, and their Booth. Also, there is a QR Code on the postcard!
Upon scanning the QR Code, I was directed to a mobile website that contained a registration form (the mobile website was built using our iFlyMobi product).
The form allowed me to easily register for the contest on my smartphone.
Here is a picture of the mobile website:
Congratulations to MFSA for executing this marketing effort!
They did a great job by following a number of best practices. This includes:
- Directing the QR Code to a mobile website
- Providing multiple response mechanisms (they printed a URL for folks that did not want to scan the QR Code)
- Using the mobile website to collect data
Here’s hoping we see a lot of great examples like this one at Graph Expo 2012!
